Frequently Asked Questions
If you have a question you feel is pertinent and appropriate to post here, please e-mail it to the webmaster.
- I would like to donate something to the school but I am not made of money. What smaller projects do you have needs for that I could donate money towards that would help?
The school has a GREAT way to donate money - simply go to the school web site and click on "Opportunities." Current Projects are listed there and you can pledge any amount to a particular project easily.
- What is the PSAT test and when should my child take it?
Taking the PSAT test in the junior year of high school is the first step for entering the National Merit Program. If the student qualifies as a National Merit Semi-Finalist or a PSAT Commended Scholar, he/she is notified by National Merit Scholarship Corporation. The list of qualifying students is published and sent to U.S. colleges and universities. The semi-finalist may advance to finalist status by taking the SAT during the senior year and by meeting other requirements outlined by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. See also the "Testing Information" page for more information on other tests given.
- If I am going to fly my child home for leave who should I contact to coordinate airport trips?

- If I am coming to the academy, what are my options for lodging?
On the school website simply select "Area Lodging" from the links on the "About Us" page.
