Pathways to Success
 What is the Pathways to Success Scholarship Program at Ozark Adventist Academy?
It is a program partnership with the Commonweal Foundation that assists students by awarding them scholarships to attend Ozark Adventist Academy. The Ozark Adventist Academy boarding school environment provides Pathways students the opportunity to increase their academic skills, gain work experience, and expand their knowledge of life beyond their local communities. Although Pathways for Success is primarily a funding program, Commonweal Foundation personnel visit the students at Ozark and review academic progress and monitor participation in school employment. Award amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis, up to a maximum of $4,745 per academic year* and are renewable for up to four years. Funds are distributed directly to Ozark Adventist Academy. When reviewing Pathways Scholarships for renewal, Ozark Academy and the Commonweal Foundation consider student academic progress and demonstrated need.
Who is eligible to apply for a Pathways to Success Scholarship at Ozark Adventist Academy?
Students who:
- Are new to Ozark Adventist Academy
- Are entering grades 9 through 12
- Show a need and a strong desire to change their school situations
- Have the potential to be successful in a regular or accelerated classroom setting
- Have demonstrated academic success
- Have a family adjusted gross income at or below the following levels:
New Applicants
Family of 2 $40,000
Family of 3 $40,000
Family of 4 $40,000
Family of 5 $48,260
Family of 6 $55,220
Renewal Applicants
Family of 2 $40,000
Family of 3 $42,925
Family of 4 $51,625
Family of 5 $60,325
Family of 6 $69,025
- Sign a contract and agree to participate in work and community service projects
