McKee Hall
Boys' Dormitory
Completed in 1998, the boys' dorm has room for approximately one hundred boys. The dorm contains a main lobby, guest rooms, the boys' rooms, a worship room, a recreation area, a laundry room, and a weight room with a mechanical climbing wall where the boys can set the speed and incline. Each room has its own bathroom, built in twin bunk beds, a walk in closet, a shower, and a sink.
In the closet there is a double rod with a shelf above each rod. The width of each closet is about 39". Some students purchase a clothes hamper and a plastic 3-drawer unit to sit on the floor for smaller clothing items. The maximum height available from the floor to the bottom of the closet shelf is 40".
There is one towel rack in the bathroom. An over-the-toilet hutch can add a little more storage for towels and personal items. Some students also bring an over-the-door double hook for hanging clothes. Although there is a small corner shelf in the shower, bringing an inexpensive shower caddy to hang over the spout for toiletries is usually helpful.
Boys' Dormitory
In boys' dorm, students don’t just find a place to stay—they find a second home. With a strong sense of community and shared experience, the boys' dorm becomes a place where lasting friendships are built. Whether it’s hanging out after study hall, connecting over weekend activities, or just enjoying life together, the bonds formed here often carry far beyond high school. The dorm is led by dedicated deans who are committed to supporting each student’s growth. They’re not just staff—they’re mentors, encouragers, and trusted adults who take the time to check in, offer guidance, and be a steady presence. The deans work to create an environment where every student feels respected, supported, and part of a brotherhood.

Technology Use
To help create a restful and focused environment, all personal devices (one cellphone and one electronic wearable) are collected by the dean each night before lights out. On Friday evenings, devices are turned in prior to vespers. To help maintain a worshipful atmosphere, the use of all devices is not permitted during chapel, vespers, or Sabbath services. Students involved in leading song service are encouraged to print their music and lyrics ahead of time. On Saturday nights, personal devices such as phones and smartwatches may remain with students in their rooms.

Isaac R.Class of 2025The beginning of my time here was scary because I didn’t know anyone, but I was lucky to have an amazing roommate, Timothy. I enjoy talking with friends and spending time with them.
