This year's alumni reunion weekend is going to be more than a traditional reunion. On October 10-12, 2024, OAA will celebrate 100 years of secondary Adventist education in Gentry, Arkansas. It all started in 1924 as Flint Creek Junior Academy and has become what we know today as Ozark Adventist Academy. The 2024 alumni centennial celebration weekend is going to be one you are not going to want to miss!
The weekend kicks off on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. with a benefit gala to support merit scholarships for OAA students. Our goal is to raise funds to fund scholarships for new OAA students who excel in music, academics, and athletics. Learn more about the Centennial Gala via the link below:

Besides the traditional Friday evening vespers, Sabbath school, and church services, we are also planning things like a Friday evening bonfire, Sabbath afternoon lawn concert, a five quarter basketball game where all alumni can participate, and a Saturday night variety show. Be sure to brush up on those gymnastic moves, dust off those drama props, and warm up those vocal cords!
It is going to be a full weekend and there are many manys to help. If you have a act for the Saturday night variety show, a musical number for the lawn concert, or just want to help serve tomatoes for Friday evening's haystack dinner, please contact Renee Patterson at 479-736-2221 ext. 131 or by email at [email protected]. This years vespers, Sabbath school, and church services will be held in the gymnasium. We are hoping to live-stream the services on Ozark's YouTube page so check back for more information.
