International Admissions
Begin Your Journey
We welcome international students who wish to experience a Christ-centered education in an English-speaking environment. While we do not require a TOEFL score for admission, students must be able to speak, understand, and write English well enough to participate in classroom discussions and succeed in their coursework. Please note that we do not offer an English as a Second Language (ESL) program, so applicants should already possess strong English communication skills prior to enrollment. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We can be contacted by phone at +1 479 736 2221 ext. 131. or via email at [email protected].
Admissions Process
Starting your journey at Ozark Adventist Academy is a four-step process. After submitting your application, our admissions team will connect with you to guide you through the remaining steps— including a language assessment to ensure you’re ready to thrive in our English-speaking classrooms, and helping you prepare for registration day on campus. We’re here to support you throughout the process.
Application
The first step is to complete Ozark Adventist Academy's online application and pay the $27 application fee. School records, standardized test scores, and two references—all translated into English—will also need to be provided.
Assessment
The second step in the international admissions process is an English language assessment. The aseessment is completed online and ensures students are prepared to succeed in an English-speaking academic environment.
Enrollment
Once a student has been accepted, the applicant will receive an email with links to the required enrollment forms that must be completed. At this stage in the process, full payment of the year’s tuition is due.
Registration
TThe final step takes place in person on registration day, when students sign up for classes and complete any remaining requirements. Day students register on August 7. Dorm students register on Sunday, August 10.
International Student Online Application
The first step in the international admissions process is to complete Ozark Adventist Academy’s online application and pay the $27 application fee. Once you click on the application link, you will be given two options—be sure to select the application specifically for international students. As part of the application, you will need to submit school records, transcripts, standardized test scores, and two letters of reference. All documents must be translated into English to ensure they can be properly reviewed by our admissions team. These documents should be uploaded directly into the application portal before you click “submit.” If they are not uploaded at that time, they will need to be emailed separately to the admissions office.
International Student ApplicationAdditional Dormitory Information
Please note that Ozark Adventist Academy’s dormitories and cafeteria are closed when school is not in session. We do not have resources available to arrange host families; therefore, it is the responsibility of the student’s family to secure a host family within a three-hour radius of the school. The host family must be available to provide accommodations during school breaks or in the event of illness or disciplinary action requiring the student to leave campus.
English Assessment
The second step in the international admissions process is an English language assessment to ensure the student is prepared to succeed in an English-speaking academic environment. This assessment includes a scheduled online interview, where members of the admissions team will speak with the student to evaluate their ability to understand and communicate in English. In addition to the interview, students will be asked to complete an online English assessment, which helps provide further insight into their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Both components are important in determining readiness for classroom participation at Ozark Adventist Academy.
Enrollment
Once a student’s application is complete, our Admissions Committee carefully reviews the submitted materials and notifies the family of the enrollment decision. The decision is communicated via email, and if the student is accepted, the message will include clear, step-by-step instructions for completing the enrollment process. The forms needed to complete the enrollment process are listed below. Click on a link to view and download the forms. At this stage in the process, full payment of the year’s tuition is due.
The tuition for the 2025 - 2026 school year for international dorm students is $24,900. The tuition for international day students is $17,700. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer financial assistance to international students. Once a student has been accepted and the tuition has been deposited in Ozark Adventist Academy's account, we will issue the I-20 and send it by express mail. You will then take the I-20 to the consulate in your country to obtain your student visa.
Registration
Registration is the final step in the process and takes place when the student arrives on campus. For day students, registration is held the Thursday before school begins. For dormitory students, it is scheduled for the Sunday prior to the start of school. Students arriving late or enrolling for second semester will complete registration upon arrival.
When families arrive on campus, they will begin the registration process by checking in at the lobby of the R. E. Callicott Educational Center. There, they will receive a personalized checklist outlining any remaining steps needed before the student is ready to move into the dorm or attend classes. These steps may include selecting classes and finalizing a schedule, completing financial arrangements, meeting with the nurse practitioner, and connecting with the principal. Students will also receive their school ID card and Chromebook, and have the opportunity to speak with the National Honor Society and ACT/SAT advisor, as well as instructors from elective programs such as robotics, art, music, athletics, and cyber security.
