Photo & Video
Gallery
Each week while school is in session, we are continually posting new photos. There is often a camera on campus somewhere. Photo Galleries from the 2024-2025 school year are available
HERE.
Photos in these galleries are often lightly edited for composition and presentation.
Days of Gratitude
November 20, 2025
Students in Ms. Rempart’s and Mrs. Esquer’s English classes took part in something called Days of Gratitude. Across grades 9–12, students spent time writing thank-you letters to individuals who have generously supported OAA. Each letter was a chance for our students to pause, reflect, and recognize the people who help make their school experience possible.
Chesney Prairie
November 19, 2025
Students in Mr. Krein’s Biology class took a short trip to Chesney Prairie on Wednesday. While there, they had the opportunity to observe a prescribed burn, an important conservation practice used to maintain prairie ecosystems and prevent them from becoming overgrown with forest.
Class Flag Reveal
November 19, 2025
On Wednesday, our students continued one of Ozark’s favorite traditions — the annual Class Flag Reveal! Each class, from freshmen to seniors, designed and hand-painted a queen-sized flag that represents their class's aim for the year and the values they’re committed to living.
This Week in Art
November 19, 2025
Students in Mrs. Esquer’s evening art class have been getting into the Christmas spirit in a fun way—hand-painting wooden ornaments! Each wood slice became its own little piece of holiday art. From frosty snowmen to candy canes, every ornament is completely unique and full of personality.
Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art
November 16, 2025
Students in Mrs. Esquer’s English II classes visited the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art in Tulsa. The museum preserves thousands of years of Jewish history, art, and culture—and the Sanditen/Kaiser Holocaust Center within it powerfully reminded our students how hate, intolerance, and indifference can lead to tragedy.
Campus Ministries in Tulsa
November 2, 2025
Some of our students headed to Tulsa First Church on Sunday and helped pack 26,403 meals for families in need. Brad Simmons, OAA's Bible Teacher, led the trip. On the way back, the students were already asking him when they could do something like this again. Photo Credit: Brad Simmons
Water Quality Testing
October 16 & 17, 2025
On Thursday and Friday, Mr. Krein’s Earth Science students headed down to the creek to study water quality. From running physical tests to examining the critters that call the creek home, students learned how to assess the health of a water ecosystem firsthand.
Junk Scramble
August 23
Our students went all-out for Junk Scramble — what a night! The event was livestreamed. The seniors won with 67 points. Check out an archived copy of the video on YouTube.
Day Student Registration
August 7
Day student registration took place Thursday, Aug. 7. Registration for dorm students and any day students who still need to register will take place Sunday, Aug. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We look forward to welcoming more students to campus and getting the school year off to a great start!
