We Are One Classroom Photos
March 27, 2026
Ozark Adventist Academy had the privilege of hosting the ARKLA Conference’s We Are One event. Students in grades 5–8 from Adventist schools across the conference spent time on our campus. Here is a glimpse into some of the science, art, and math classes they experienced.
Fine Arts Festival at SWAU
March 18-22, 2026
Fifteen OAA students attended Southwestern Adventist University’s Fine Arts Festival. Throughout the week, students spent time rehearsing with students from schools across the US. Their experience culminated with performances at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church and the Meyerson Symphony Center.
SA Banquet
March 1, 2026
This year’s theme for the Student Association banquet was Midnight Bloom. The cafeteria was transformed with glowing lights and candles, creating a beautiful setting. A live saxophone performance filled the room as students enjoyed time together and Italian food from Noodles.
Art & Advanced Art Field Trip
January 6, 2026
On Tuesday, students in Mrs. Esquer’s Art and Advanced Art classes enjoyed a field trip to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville. Students explored a wide range of artwork and gaining a deeper appreciation for artistic expression while connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences.
Sabbath in Gentry

Sophomore Christmas Party

There's been a lot of Christmas on campus this week. One of the highlights? Class parties! The sophomores celebrated at the Springtown SDA Church’s fellowship hall. From musical chairs to karaoke, here is a glimpse inside. Thank you to the class sponsors and the Wilson family for helping make this party so much fun!

Photos from Thursday night’s 61-38 win over Anthem Classical. Thursday, December 4, was also our annual Teddy Bear Toss. Thank you to everyone who came out, cheered us on, and donated teddy bears to be shared with families in our local community. We are grateful for a school family that gives back.
Days of Gratitude
November 20, 2025
Students in Ms. Rempart’s and Mrs. Esquer’s English classes took part in something called Days of Gratitude. Across grades 9–12, students spent time writing thank-you letters to individuals who have generously supported OAA. Each letter was a chance for our students to pause, reflect, and recognize the people who help make their school experience possible.
Chesney Prairie

Students in Mr. Krein’s Biology class took a short trip to Chesney Prairie on Wednesday. While there, they had the opportunity to observe a prescribed burn, an important conservation practice used to maintain prairie ecosystems and prevent them from becoming overgrown with forest.
Class Flag Reveal

On Wednesday, our students continued one of Ozark’s favorite traditions — the annual Class Flag Reveal! Each class, from freshmen to seniors, designed and hand-painted a queen-sized flag that represents their class's aim for the year and the values they’re committed to living.
This Week in Art

Students in Mrs. Esquer’s evening art class have been getting into the Christmas spirit in a fun way—hand-painting wooden ornaments! Each wood slice became its own little piece of holiday art. From frosty snowmen to candy canes, every ornament is completely unique and full of personality.
Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art
November 16, 2025
Students in Mrs. Esquer’s English II classes visited the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art in Tulsa. The museum preserves thousands of years of Jewish history, art, and culture—and the Sanditen/Kaiser Holocaust Center within it powerfully reminded our students how hate, intolerance, and indifference can lead to tragedy.
Campus Ministries in Tulsa

Some of our students headed to Tulsa First Church on Sunday and helped pack 26,403 meals for families in need. Brad Simmons, OAA's Bible Teacher, led the trip. On the way back, the students were already asking him when they could do something like this again. Photo Credit: Brad Simmons
Water Quality Testing
October 16 & 17, 2025
On Thursday and Friday, Mr. Krein’s Earth Science students headed down to the creek to study water quality. From running physical tests to examining the critters that call the creek home, students learned how to assess the health of a water ecosystem firsthand.
Junk Scramble
August 23
Our students went all-out for Junk Scramble — what a night! The event was livestreamed. The seniors won with 67 points. Check out an archived copy of the video on YouTube.
Day Student Registration
August 7
Day student registration took place Thursday, Aug. 7. Registration for dorm students and any day students who still need to register will take place Sunday, Aug. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We look forward to welcoming more students to campus and getting the school year off to a great start!
