Music Fest - Usually scheduled in the first part of December, Ozark hosts a yearly Music Festival on our campus. Starting with instruction and practice during the week, the weekend is filled with musical performances. From the "Festival of Lights" program on Friday evening to Saturday night's Christmas concert, it is a great way to welcome the Christmas season. Learn more about Music Fest via the link below:
Regular Performances at the Gentry SDA Church - located next to Ozark's campus, the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church is frequently blessed by performances from Ozark's students.
Spring Concert - Each year in the spring, Ozark's music department hosts a spring concert. Ozark's student musicians perform for Ozark students, staff and the community. Spring Concert is usually held in the local community or on Ozark's campus.
A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence. - Leopold Stokowski
A respected pastor's wife once said her heart was often stirred and drawn closer to God by music than by many sermons preached from the pulpit. At Ozark Adventist Academy it is our goal that the music performed by our students will be a ministry that causes others, as well as our students, to desire a closer walk with Christ.
Ozark offers the opportunity for students to join Choir, Concert Choir (a select choir), Handbells, Concert Band and various ensembles. For elementary school students who live in the area, Ozark has an elementary school band on our campus from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
